Having grown up in the Memphis area, Mike has an appreciation for all types of music including new & old country, southern rock, 80's alternative and traditional pop music.  Mike's love of music started in college while playing bass in the college rock band Ocean to Goshen while attending Ole Miss in the late 80's.  Mike has a passion for alternative music including the Cult, Cure, Hoodoo Gurus, and R.E.M. and an appreciation for alternative county and 70’s / 80’s Rock.  Mike enjoys writing and recording in addition to playing  live shows
